Summer Camp Registration Information:

Please scroll down and review the following programs and fees available and then proceed to the NEXT page to start the registration process. Complete the registration form and select the programs and sessions that you would like your child to attend. A separate registration form is required for each child. Total payment of the fees will secure your child's enrollment. Once your payment is received in the office, your child's summer camp registration will be processed.

You will be given the following options to pay: You may send in a check to the office, you may pay using PayPal or you may request that your fees be charged to your credit card, if you have a credit card authorization form on file. If you would like to charge your fees to your credit card and do not have a PayPal account or a credit card authorization form on file, there is a link on the order page that will take you to a credit card authorization form.

We accept summer camp students on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration will be accepted up to one week prior to the start of the camp session.

The Albrook School has a non-discriminatory policy with regard to race, religion and national origin, both in the admission of students and in the employment of faculty and staff.

Refund Policy:
$50 fee for withdrawal - each session prior to April 15, 2018.
$10 fee to change a program.
No refund will be given after April 15, 2018 for withdrawal or program change.
 
Session 1:  June 18 - June 29 (the option of one week is offered for Session 1 only)
Session 2:  July 2 - July 13 (closed July 4th)
Session 3:  July 16 - July 27
Session 4:  July 30- August 10

8 Week Discount:  $50 is deducted from the total of the program fees when you enroll your child for all four sessions, a total of 8 weeks.  (Does not apply to Early and After Care fees).

Exploring Nature  (Offered Session 1,2,3,4) – Ages 4 to 6

Put your naturalist hat on and explore the wonders of nature through each session.

Hands-on materials will be used to enhance each session’s topic.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Session 1 - Learning all about the animals of New Jersey

Session 2 - Discovering the plants and trees of The Albrook School

Session 3 - Exploring amphibians around the world

Session 4 – Finding hidden animals and plants in ponds and streams. 

Fun With Soccer  (Offered Session 1) – Ages 4 to 6

Master the basic soccer skills such as dribbling, shooting and passing

while developing the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Cooking Around the World(Offered Session 2, 3 & 4) – Ages 4 to 9

Travel around the globe and learn about different cultures and traditions through tasting and cooking.

Different countries will be explored each session as the different age groups complete their own book

of delicious recipes.  Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Explore the World(Offered Session 1) – Ages 5 1/2 to 9

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

Students will learn about south America with hands-on materials.

Projects and multi-media computers will enhance their study of each country. 

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Fun With Mathematics  (Offered Session 2 & 3) – Ages 5 ½ - 9

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

Explore math concepts with hands-on Montessori materials, the computer lab and creative projects.

Have fun with geometry, measurement and math operations while enhancing math problem solving skills.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Creative Writing  (Offered Session 4)– Ages 5 ½ - 9

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

Increase your writing ability in a mixed-age writing workshop.

Benefit from small group daily writing lessons while creatively producing your own handmade book.

Stimulate your imagination while improving writing skills.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Nature Discovery  (Offered Session 2) – Ages 6 to 9

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

Week 1 - The wonders of the life cycle of insects in your backyard. 

Put your naturalist hat on and explore the how and whys of the insect world

Learn their secrets of survival in their ever changing world.

Week 2: Biomimicry - Come look at our world with fresh eyes! 

Discover how nature inspires us to invent and design a better world.

Put your walking shoes on and explore nature's time-tested pattern and strategies guided by a naturalist.

Collaborate with friends; create and design fun projects to support your findings.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

STEAM  (Offered Session 3 & 4) – Ages 6 to 9

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

Session 3: - Physics 

Study physics through force and motion.  Design, build, and launch your own rockets.

Session 4: - Chemistry

Be a chemist!  New experiments to explore how substances change through chemical reactions.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools.

Drama  (Offered Session 3) – Ages 6 to 9

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

The Drama Program will be led by Mrs. Lipman, drama teacher at Albrook.

The goal of this program is to give children an enjoyable and exciting experience in theater.

The morning session will include theater games and exercises, as well as rehearsals for a

culminating performance that will be held at the end of the two weeks.

Children are given daily swim lessons in our heated pools. 

Drama  (Offered Session 4) – Ages 6 to 10

Children must have completed Kindergarten.

The Full Day drama program is designed to give children a total experience in play production. 

Students will create an original play and participate in all aspects of theater.  Beginning with

brainstorming a plot and developing characters through improvisation, to designing their own

scenery, props, and costumes, children will have a chance to explore all theatrical elements.

Students will perform for family and friends on the last day of the session.
